Thank you for your interest and registration for “Boot Camp Tasmania”. Once you have successfully registered online you will be sent a confirmation email advising you that you have been allocated a place in the course.

The course is filling fast and early registration and payment is encouraged. Payment may be made by phoning or by credit card via the website.

Please note NO REFUND will be available for Boot Camp unless the course is unavoidably cancelled.

Boot Camp Tasmania accepts most payment methods including: Cash, Cheques, Credit Card & Money orders (made out to Russell Kapper)

1) What if I am unfit and cannot keep up with the others?

Fitness develops over time and individuals are enlisting at differing fitness levels. We cater for all fitness levels within the program and are unique in having two personal trainers attending each session to motivate clients to achieve their optimal best. You will fit in perfectly!

 

2) Is Boot Camp for me?

It depends upon what you are looking for and what goals you are trying to achieve. Not everyone wants to put in the hard work to get themselves onto the path of achieving their goals. If you are looking for a fun, motivating exercise program that is guaranteed to improve your functional fitness levels then this is the ideal program for you. We have all ages and abilities in the program and as we are committed to improving your fitness levels, we will provide alternative exercises for those you get stuck on, so yes, Boot Camp is for you!

 

3) Will I look silly participating in activities?

No, everyone is there for the same reason, to improve their health and well being. We have fun during the Boot Camp sessions and it doesn’t take long for the group to pull together to help each other along.

 

4) Is there shouting and yelling at the recruits?

No, we take our business seriously and although we may strongly encourage you, it will be in a manner that is motivational and inspiring to achieve targets. Your personal trainers have a wicked sense of humour so come along prepared for a laugh!

 

5) How much is it?

Boot Camp Tasmania costs 150 AUD for 12 regular sessions, held over a 4 week period. Lunchtime Boot Camp costs 120 AUD for 12 sessions. Please contact us for payment options. Payment needs to be arranged prior to commencing the Boot Camp program.

 

6) What happens if I change my mind?

If you change your mind, we will hold your payment over until there is another Boot Camp Tasmania that meets your schedule. This offer will expire after 12 months. Boot Camp Tasmania does not offer a refund.

 

7) What do I need to bring and wear to boot camp?

You will need to bring water, a towel, layers of clothing that can be removed, and gym shoes. If you have enlisted into an outdoor Boot Camp Tasmania, you should bring along warm clothing to change into, and wet weather gear in case of inclement weather conditions. A mat helps when doing abdominal work. Sunscreen, head covering and sunglasses always advised if participating outdoors.

 

8) What testing will be done?

You will undergo a fitness test on day one and day 12. This consists of endurance and strength – this is where you will see the most benefits from participating in Boot Camp Tasmania.

 

9) Will it make a difference to my strength and fitness?

Absolutely. If you are prepared to put in you will notice definite improvement in your functional strength and fitness. We have had very positive results in all our members since starting up Boot Camp Tasmania.

 

10) Will I lose weight and tone up?

Losing weight is a hard question to answer as there are many other factors that come into play. We cannot control what you place in your mouth so if you add in a nutritious diet plan then yes you should notice improvement in weight. What will happen is your lean muscle mass will increase as your body fat reduces. This doesn’t always show up on the scales. You should notice a difference in muscle definition in various body parts as they are exercised.

 

11) What happens if I can not do an activity due to an injury or other medical condition?

We will modify exercises to suit individuals if they require this. We have had members attend Boot Camp Tasmania who have a number of medical conditions and injuries. We have not lost a member yet! Seriously we have a well stocked medical kit and each Personal Trainer has completed first aid training.

 

12) Where and how will I be participating?

We conduct our sessiona at various venues around Hobart and Launceston. Generally each session begins with a structured warm up activity, followed by a workout that will leave you wanting more! We will finish the workout with a stretching session that will help to improve flexibility. Each session aims to last one hour so be prepared!

 

13) What happens if I can not make it to all classes?

Signing up for Boot Camp Tasmania means a commitment to yourself and other participants of the session for four weeks. Being at a session will help you to successfully achieve your goals. In cases of long term sickness or emergencies, we will work with you to make other arrangements.

You will find the course motivating and it will encourage you to progress and further develop your health and fitness. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information concerning the Boot Camp.
